These tactics often cheat you. Since you can print a whole lot of more pages using the ink that is left and this also denies you the freedom to use your gadget as you wish. There is certain lack of transparency about the price and performance of ink cartridge.

There is often a surprise waiting in store for new consumers replacing their printer cartridges, especially when you compare that to the cost of a new printer. The major printer manufacturers include Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, Dell, Canon, Epson and Brother. Most of the profit comes from ink cartridges and when you buy aftermarket cartridges they run a loss.

However, even there are vast differences in the aftermarket inks you get. Sometimes they are of just poor quality. So you need to be really careful about that. Moreover, continuously refilling a cartridge interferes with the eventual quality if the prints and over a period of time, the sharpness of both text and images are lost.

It isn’t very difficult buying a cartridge which will give you good quality, and as long as you are careful about your vendor and the quality you are buy, it should be okay and you’ll definitely end up saving a lot of money.
